Providing commercial services to other countries and transiting commercial cargoes and transportation to other surrounding countries and taking advantage of the extraordinary geographical location of this country is its main source of income, and industry and agriculture are not prosperous in this country.

The International Trade Center announced that the total trade of Djibouti in 2021 was 7 billion and 400 million dollars, that the share of service exports from this country was more than 1 billion dollars, and the export of goods in 2021 was about 370 million dollars, of which the export of plant and animal products With 185 million dollars, it is at the top of Djibouti’s export products.

According to this report, the total value of imported goods destined for Djibouti in 2021 was 5 billion and 500 million dollars, and vegetable and animal oils and products, vehicles and food are on top of the list of imported goods of Djibouti. The total import of services to Djibouti in 2020 was about 625 million dollars.

In the statistical report of the customs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the total export of Iran to Djibouti in 1400 was about 4 million dollars, of which 38% was the export share of oil bitumen and 40% belonged to sodium hydroxide.
