The high-ranking officials of Iran and Zimbabwe signed 12 cooperation documents in the presence of presidents.
Cooperation in the fields of oil and energy, telecommunications and information technology, social security and insurance, work and employment, higher education and science and research and technology, agriculture and fisheries, food and medicine, supply, distribution, and production of medical equipment. Professional safety and reduction of work-related injuries, social support and protection of children, empowerment of disabled people, and cooperation memorandums between Iran Tractor Company and Zimbabwe Magai Company were the focus of cooperation documents signed between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Zimbabwe.
These cooperation documents are between the ministries of foreign affairs, cooperation, labor, and social welfare, the deputy minister of labor, the international deputy of Iran Tractor Company, and Zimbabwe. The documents were signed by the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Land and Agriculture, head of the Food and Drug Administration of Zimbabwe, and representative of the Maga Company.
At the end of the ceremony of signing the documents, Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi said that maybe our friendship with Africa and Zimbabwe would not be liked by some people. It does not matter to us whether anyone likes these relations, but what is important is that the axis of these relations is the effort to secure the interests of the two nations and countries of Iran and Zimbabwe.
The president added: Our emphasis is on speeding up the implementation of the memorandums and cooperation documents signed between the two countries so that their results in practice lead to securing the interests of the two nations.
I have to say; at noon on Thursday, 22 July, the president of our country arrived in Harare, the capital of this country with the official invitation of his Zimbabwean counterpart and was welcomed by Emerson Mnangagwa, the President of Zimbabwe.
