President of Kenya: Kenya is open to the presence of Iranian investors and businessmen, and we are sure that this cooperation will continue.
High-ranking officials of Iran and Kenya signed 5 cooperation documents in the presence of the presidents of the two countries. The president of our country stated that Iran and Kenya have many capacities for cooperation, which attention can help to improve the relations between the two countries, and said: The economic development of the two countries has been targeted to 10 times the current level.
The president had gone to the Black Continent to improve the level of relations with friendly and aligned countries, diversifying export destinations and laying the groundwork for strengthening political and economic cooperation. At the first destination of his regional trip to the African continent, he arrived in Nairobi and was welcomed by the President of Kenya.
After a few hours, the ceremony of signing documents and memorandums of cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Kenya was held and the officials of the two countries signed 5 cooperation documents.
These cooperation documents were in the fields of veterinary medicine, communication, culture, fisheries, and professional technology, which were signed by the ministries of “Foreign Affairs”, “Information, Communication and Digital Economy”, “Tourism, Wildlife and Heritage”, “Mining, Water Economy”, “Sea Affairs” and “Education of Kenya”, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare of the Islamic Republic of Iran were signed in the presence of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyed Ebrahim Raisi and the President of Kenya William Ruto.
