Our country’s ambassador in Kenya said: cheap labor, strategic location, and active ports have provided suitable conditions for Iranian economic operators to East Africa through Kenya.
According to the report of the Iran and Africa Business Club, Gholampour, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kenya, said at a meeting of economic activists: There are suitable infrastructures in Kenya and with follow-ups, it can be the pole and the regional center for the entry of Iranian goods into East Africa.
He added: Kenya is the gateway for Iranian goods to the east of the African continent due to its special and strategic location and the presence of suitable ports.
Gholampour further said: The most imported items of this country are agricultural products and the most exported products from Iran to this country are petrochemical and bitumen products.
In addition, the ambassador of our country in Kenya stated: The existence of free zones, cheap labor is one of the advantages of doing business with Kenya.
In the end, he added: The market of the African continent has a very competitive market and the main competitors in Africa are Turkey, China, UAE, America and Europe.
