BRICS is a group of emerging economic powers whose name stands for the initials of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Africa, Ms. Naldi Pandour, reviewed the latest state of bilateral relations and examined the ways of developing relations between them. He also pointed to the sending of an official invitation to Ayatollah Raisi and emphasized the presence of the president in the BRICS summit.

The foreign ministers of the two countries also discussed and exchanged views on some issues of mutual interest.
